It’s the LW model with 25” ventilated barrel. Is $1100 worth it?

I would "Pay" that the $1,100 for a Rem 1100 28 gauge "Sporting Clay" shotgun....yet never the early mahogany
stocked small frames.

You wouldn’t but a LOT of others would pay that and more (craziness going on now - many 1100 sub gauges are going for $2000 or more - many don’t differentiate between the Sporting Clays model and the standard grades either🤪).I’d buy as many as I could for $1100. Heck even 11-48s in sub gauges are bringing unheard of prices…..I gave one of these away to a friend that had two daughters that wanted to hunt upland birds - think I payed $300 for it about 15 years ago now you can’t touch one for under $800++?!

If it's all original finishes, it is about right price wise. They are very good when maintained.....like all guns should be.
