Went ahead and secured the website... It is blank (99%) for now. Info and testing will be there as we proceed.

93Jimbo.Com

Went ahead and bought every Norma 232 grain .366 bullet on the web... sorry fellas.

Working on the cartridge design now... basically the 93Jimbo will be:

1) .358 Winchester brass from Starline (abundant and premium). Mandrel to .366. Lowered shoulder... a Bee radius or 40 degree Ackley (still thinking...).

2) 10x Powder and others around that speed/volume (WARNING... these powders WILL OVER PRESSURE IN HOT WEATHER!!!)

3) Custom reamer, Go/No Go gauges, die reamers etc

4) Barrels will be made for Savage and for the Zeus (https://terminusactions.com/product/zeus/)... possibly others

5) 2.800" COL (Short action and AR-10s et al)

6) 2,750 FPS should be easily obtainable (we have done similar stuff already)... goal will be to hit 3k (probably not, but I am setting the bar that high). Long throat as required.

Why?

As a Tribute to a close friend that passed back around Thanksgiving... Jimbo was a hoot... any wildcat or caliber we ever did... he always wanted two of them. I miss him.

Because I can... WGAF if there are shortages. Stuff is what men do... shortages or not.

More will follow... This is just a hack on the wall of a start.

Drop me a PM if anyone has interest...

That is all for now.

Sounds interesting!

I’d vote for the 40 degree shoulder.

I prefer classic.

Hell I am in more than ever. I lost a good buddy….John Linebaugh
Known him 29 years and built with him back then and we were planning to screw around and build guns, just a couple of Ol Phart Gun Smiths having fun.

Spent an evening with is two boys a couple of days ago at his place on Line Creek.
John pushed the boundary of this and that. And liked heavy bullets.
No holding back now. I’ll use his shop now to do builds.
Revolvers and rifles.

93 Jim on maybe a BRNO 601………

The Savage 110 and the Zeus are built... Load data testing and reporting to follow.

Hoping to hit 3k with 185 gr Lapuas (jury still out).

Three AR-10s and three 700s ready for distribution.

3D case gauges and over-reamed dies (3 sets each) going to the family and friends of Jimbo.

Stay tuned...
