Close in what way? Actually, in the things that matter, I think the answer remains “no”, especially in new guns. You missed the boat. Given my usual penchant for doing the same, it’s a minor wonder I managed to snaffle one.

Probably as close as one can come would be a Kimber Montana or even a Hunter, but those are very scarce as well. Bergara has a new one, the Canyon, but it’s well over 2k. Howa Carbon Stalkers are light, but not SS. My regular Mini in a custom stock with floorplate weighs 6-9 with a 18oz scope in fairly heavy mounts. I could get it very close to 6 with a lighter scope and rings, but it’s “only” a Grendel.

I had one in 6.5 Creedmoor. On the list of "guns I should have kept. DAMMIT. It was a shooter too.
Those Howa's are interesting, so is the Bergara. I think we are about to see a couple more, The SIG Cross is not bad as is the Christensen but I'm blowing my $1500 entry point.
