From what he's saying, I am assuming a Jap or Italian gun..........His only stipulation is a 3" chambering that can shoot steel shot.........
Beretta, Franchi,Browning, Mirrocku , SKB, Charles Daily.. ??? What ever......................
He plans to hunt the hell out of it, but wants to be the one to disfigure it himself...honest wear/useage/ ect. is fine
anybody ?

The Ithaca/ SKB's have hard chrome barrels, I don't know how that's going to work with steel shot !

SKB’s should be fine with steel shot as long as it’s a model with interchangeable chokes and the choke tubes are rated for steel.

Thanks for the offers and pic's from guys.....for whatever reason, he's not interested in the CZ shotguns and is looking for a 28" gun as well (didnt realize that when I first posted that )
