This is not a joke. Not Photoshoped. Not the Onion. Not Babylon Bee. I took this screenshot five minutes ago. “The voice of the public land hunter”. When and by whom was that awarded?

That was satire.
It sounds self-awarded.

My Southern brain can't understand the idiocy involved introducing a predator into an ecosystem. I would imagine the solution couldn't be posted on the internet but would involve multiple parties Alcohol various medium calibers and lots of shenanigans. We're supposed to have cougars and we do have black bear but no public servants pushing introducing grizzly or wolves.
Bangflop! another skinning job due to .260 and proper shot placement.

They introduced non-native wolves into Yellowstone. It's the equivalent of introducing Kodiak bears into Colorado to replace native grizzlies. It's criminal and has upset the balance, because they introduced a non-native apex predator that is 50% larger, hunts in larger packs with larger ranges than what the native wolves would. They are killers of opportunity, not necessity, so given the opportunity they kill for sport and just leave the dead, injured and maimed animals. This is true to an extent. Just ask the sheep rancher whose family spent almost 100 years developing their sheep and in one night wolves killed 80 of them.

I watched it lol, who gives a shyte about the bushes? is that all they got?
So a Wolf only kills the old, sick, weak, calves, then in the next breath they show Wolves taking down a mature Bull Elk, how cute.
Too bad they didn't have the volume turned up when they took down a perfectly healthy Bull. In my view, it is all about the eco-tourism and the industry being created viewing wildlife, that is what hunters do everyday hunting, view wildlife, they just want to replace the hunter with a rifle, to one with a camera with $$$$.
I was curious as to how they are able to set up in any given location and view Wolves? because that has been the complete opposite of what I have seen from typical Wolf behavior, did they use bait to get the opportunity for viewing?

I smiled at that hypocrisy as well.

There are very few "news" outlets that shouldn't be dangling from a rope.

15 years without watching 60 minutes? How is that possible? Longer than that for me, I'm sure. Probably at least 25 years, probably closer to 30.

There are very few "news" outlets that shouldn't be dangling from a rope. They ALL should be. If you are hearing "news" on any sort of media today, it's because they WANT you to. Not because it's news, truth, or fact. Truth is the first casualty of war.

This is not a joke. Not Photoshoped. Not the Onion. Not Babylon Bee. I took this screenshot five minutes ago. I've known Randy for at least 30 years. He's a very passionate hunter, and before he started his TV show and his internet Forum, Hunt Talk, he was one of the co-founders of our SW Montana "Headwaters Fish & Game Association." Randy has been very active working with Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks, and has testified many times on behalf of sportsmen and wildlife at legislative sessions in Helena.

Can you hunt wolves in AK? Need tags? Seasons? Yes you can and you do need a locking tag if you're a non-resident, best time to hunt them is during the winter for optimum fur.
That's ok, I'll ass shoot a dink.

From what I have seen up here, the voice of the public land hunter represents about 1 % of the hunting population, yes, 1%, and they are given a mandate to represent all hunters. Beware of those chosen to represent you, do they really represent you and your views?
