My post above was in error. Saw the same buck today and seems it was simply a broken beam with about 3 inches of stub. Went south yesterday and saw a group of 7 mule deer with 2 being dandies. All still packing full sets. Presently Jan 29.

The bigger bucks are starting to drop their antlers around here. Found one shed Thursday while fertilizing our green fields and the other while putting corn out behind the house today.

Won't find any antlers off of these freeloaders. The deer are getting hungry and have pretty much lost their fear.

Yes it is, I have a spool in rear, locker in the front and a 6.5 -1 transfer case. You have to really work at it to stick it.
