Hi,

Anyone know where I can acquired a 99 owners manual?

I have a 1981 but I guess any 99 with the spool magazine would be fine.

Thanks,

bob

Try this guy. He has hang tags, etc as well.
Don't know what level of detail you need, but don't believe the factory owner's manual will go to in-depth detail on disassy. Maybe others will have suggestions on detailed references covering disassy, Don

The Rediscovered Shooting Treasuers hang tag is where I discovered how to close the lever on my 99 without cocking it.

I have two PDF files that I acquired from someone years ago, but I can'tremember the source. One is lengthy, and goes into much detail; the other relates to the Takedown method.

Is there a way to post PDF files to this messaage board?

lightfoot,

I can get the take down manual at Gander Mtn. I am interested in that as well as what the owners manual had to say.

By the way, Gander Mountain has take down manuals for lots of guns--too bad they don't have a web store.

If a pdf can't be posted here I could leave my email address.

thanks for the help,

Bob

I am attempting to post with a file attachment.

I get an error message:

We encountered a problem. The reason reported was
The files you may upload must have the following extension: : .gif,.jpg,.txt,.zip,.png

I will try changing the PDF extension to .txt and try again.

Remove the .txt before attempting to open the file.

The site doesn't allow me to download the file, even though it shows up in my post. This may be a bug in the system software, or just insufficient information for me to properly access the uploaded file.
