They've upped it to the possibility of an inch of ice here.

It’s funny, but we had some snow in December, but not since. We’re as dry as a Kansas dust bowl right now going through a “brown winter”. We were in a designated drought area last summer and are not getting the normal snow so far.

I hope everyone stays safe through this. Ice is the worse.

Bust for us. Rain stopped early enough before the cold rolled in. Only got about a half in of snow at the house and roughly 4 inches at work.

Of course wrecks all over. You would think MI never got snow....lol

Damn, that's a lot of ice. Has the amount of snow that was forecast been reduced?

I bet that was a pucker factor in the car.

Just drive across the lawn.

That's what I would do also but some are funny about their lawns.

Filled up the diesel truck today. Put five ounces of Lucas anti gel in before I did. Hopefully it will start tomorrow and Friday morning. Last year during Uri the truck never would start.

The weatherman is a bit vague about snow. All he wants to talk about is ice today. As far as ice is concerned, we're right in the path for the worst of it that I've heard about.

Where I'm at we've escaped the ice without too much damage upper stuff maybe a quarter inch on the ground pretty much more sleet. The next couple days of snowfall will see how close they get that I've heard anywhere from 6 in to 18 in who knows it's the wind with even 6 in they can get us in trouble with the drifts

LOL. I hope it ain’t like last year. They still need to string up those ERCOT Board Members.

The lows here in N TX the next 3 days are supposed to be about 10 degrees with up to 5” of snow and up to 1” of ice.

It was 70 degrees here today. 🤠

I cut me a good live oak log today to cure out and make good carving bench out of! 😉

Started raining this AM and then Sleeted here off and on for most of the day. Temp now is 18. Supposed to snow all night and get down to 10 degrees with the wind chill below 0.

Quite a change from the 70 degrees here yesterday. 😜

If my daughter seen a our driveway in that condition, she would try and get her net out of the basement, pad up and shoot some pucks. If the ice wasn't thick enough she would probably get the hose out.

Saw a little snow in Amarillo this morning, but nothing like they forecast.

The fireplace insert is clean here in Texas, the dry oak is ready and the 'fridge is good to go. Bathtubs are full as well. Freezer too with gin and vodka... Boxes of Chardonnay in the other 'fridge and my wife is good.

We got half a pack of Pop-Tarts to eat and two broom handles cut down to a length that'll fit in the fireplace.

If we need more than that, we're in deep doo-doo.

Weather channel app shows a diagonal line from Texas to Maine. Looks like Friday it will rain and be cold enough for ice in Connecticut. Glad I’m not there.
