There be many stupid boat operators here in Floriduh. Haulover Inlet is a long ways from the toughest one to navigate.

I am..........disturbed.

Stupid is as stupid does, but those are some pretty good standing waves. You have boats over 30' stuffing hard, not helped by more than half the crew in the bow. It's easy enough to ride the back of a wave when going downhill to avoid going over the top and into the bottomless next trough (been there, done that, avoid it now...) but those boats riding hard current into stacked oncoming waves have it tough. Crew and gear aft, tabs out of the water, drive trimmed up, throttle through the trough and...chop at the crest?
Or power to keep the bow up? One dude about stood his boat on its tail but managed to not ship much water over; looked like he kept himself powered at just-below-planing speed. My 28' tin boat's lineage is ocean usage, but most from that maker (Almar now North River) have a closed bow and cabin, so stuffing isn't as much of a big deal as mine...I have a walkaround cabin. If I stuff mine, in comes tons of water.

Those are the type that sue the boat manufacturer when something bad happens. "The boat company literature didn't sufficiently warn us about the danger...so it's their fault."

As I look at where I am in life, I can only hope to God that these dumb F~cks inherited the money that they spent on half a million dollar boats.

If it looks good, you'll see it
If it sounds good, you'll hear it
If it's marketed right, you'll buy it
But...If it's real, you'll feel it

That’s my home inlet! I’ve run boats through there going on 40 years now. I also had the pleasure of running the Therapy 4 (light blue charter boat shown last in the video) through there every weekend for the better part of 6 years before moving on to private sportfish yachts. I’ve personally pulled a lot of folks through my tuna door after getting washed off or falling off their boats, jet skis, and kayaks going through that inlet. Lots of googans who have no place in boats going through there after drinking themselves near comatose on the sandbar just inside the inlet. Good thing there’s a fire rescue station just inside and a lifeguard tower just outside to lend a hand. Good times.

Of course, she was more worried about the iPhone than drowning.
