Can you think of specific examples of lever rifles or cartridges getting plugged in movies off the top of your head?

For instance, in Home from the Hill, Robert Mitchum's character gives a little lecture on the merits of the 30-30 hog hunting and then the Model 94 he hands his son gets a pretty good once-over from the camera. Or, in The Kid from Texas, Audie Murphy (playing Billy the Kid), asks a shop keeper for boxes of 30-30 cartridges (even though they didn't exist yet!).

Thanks for any suggestions!

Longmire in Episode 1, hit the driver of a moving vehicle from a few hundred yards with his iron sighted Model 94

Plenty of lever guns in Yellowstone. At least one is a newer Winchester with a laminated stock. The others look like beat-up old cowboy guns.

Thanks y'all, but if possible, I'm trying to stick specifically to movies -- and plugs where the rifle or cartridge is actually mentioned or explained, showed off, etc. (More on the nose than just simply product placement.)

Pay attention to the hammers on those guns. About half the time they are
cocked.

Especially if they were shot or gonna be shot. They just pull the gun down like
it's all over, but the hammer is back and they don't deal with it.

Odd, considering the effort in much if the movie.

Also get a kick out of the shotshell reloading setup in the bunkhouse.

I don’t remember if the rifle was given any dialogue in the movie, but the manufacturer’s website had a little fun with it’s involvement in Jurassic World:

The Wind And The Lion and TR’s new 1895 Winchester in .405 WCF. And his secretary taking a dictated letter to the Winchester Repeating Arms Company of New Haven Conn.

Crossfire Trail. Tom Selleck's character asks about a 1876 on the wall of the local store. Don't remember exact dialog, but they discuss it being the first "big bore", that one in 45-60 I believe.

Wind River was the one I was thinking of also. What was most interesting was they showed reloading in the movie.

Silverado seems to have a few that are placed into action and maybe a story about it being his daddy’s.

I'd say that was pretty good Savage product placement in Joe Kidd. Beautiful rifle.

Those are those old Spanish "El Tigre" copies of 1892 Winchesters. See the sling swivel loop on the front barrel band?

Kevin Costner in "The Highwaymen" when he gets brought back into service and goes to the local gun shop to buy what he'll need to chase and kill Bonnie and Clyde.

Movies are about 99.9% unrealistic.
