Never understood why folks give a chit how others spend their money. Comical at most. Whiney in the least.

I was really enamored with those back in the 1970s and '80s, and was sure I'd end up with one, but they stopped making them before I did. Very cool.

I'd be interested to know how accurate they both are, Ed.
Please report after you get a chance to shoot them.

Nice weapon Ed... Congratulations.
If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.

Saw one in Idaho awhile back in 308. They're kinda pricey but a unique piece.

Please report after you get a chance to shoot them. I have shot the 940 30-06 with a 1.25-4X Leupold European scope (only 30 mm scope I own) using PPU 165 gr PSP BT ammunition and it averaged around an inch and a quarter at 100 yards. It now wears a 2.5-10X that I need to get out and dial in.

Can't believe you found two HK sporting rifles with in 10 miles. That is a deluxe hog rifle.
I remember the adds for those in the 1980's and early '90s. Strange add. It showed a guy still hunting and in one of the photo's it showed him falling down and busting his rear. I guess they were trying to show how rigged their rifle was.
