Anyone have one? Thoughts? They appear much better made than the Savage 42 and definitely look better.

I really like them, having two triggers and not having a hammer or selector is perfect. I just wish they would have put more thought into caliber selection. A 20ga/22Hornet or 222/ 223 would have made a great predator/turkey hunting rig. The 243 model should have gotten a 20ga barrel instead of the 410. The 22lr/22 mag-410/20ga is a great trapline or small game rig.

I wouldn't mind one in 38/357 or 44 mag/spec over a 20ga or even a 28. Or a 357 mag or 44 mag o/u? If the frame could take it imagine a 45/70 over a 16ga or 12ga. Lots of cool options one can dream up. Think they are 3/8 grooves though so would want it drilled and tapped.

Neither because I don't care for the cartridge combos. My combos are BRNO and Bernardelli. I did have a Sav.24 in 223/20ga, great cartridges crappy platform. It doesn't take long out in the field to learn what works and what doesn't. This one is a poor excuse for a combo gun. It's long time gone.

I had a .22LR/.410. Sold it to a buddy. They didn’t shoot anywhere near the same place and the .22 wasn’t particularly accurate with factory trigger. Buddy thought it was the coolest thing in the world and just had to have it

I traded a Savage 22/410 O/U back to a gun shop in one week. The ear sight just wouldn't go far enough to sight in the 22 and certainly the 410 wasn't in the same place as the 22. The LGS guy took it back for what I paid. RZ.
