It looks like the feds are trying to turn up the heat on Ontario truckers. Maybe Nashville can ask what the Ontario drivers are saying and planning to do if this happens. Transport Minister Omar Alghabra said Ford's government has the power to do more to end the situation and should learn from how other provinces handled similar protests recently.
"The provinces have extensive regulatory powers over commercial trucking and road transportation to help end this unlawful occupation and disruptions of commercial trucks blockading the streets and highways," Alghabra said.
"These powers could include, for example, quickly enforcing the provisions of ... Ontario highway safety, to begin suspending commercial licenses and also insurance of commercial owners of equipment blockading the streets for days on end ..."
Alghabra said authorities in Quebec did a good job of containing "unlawful activities by commercial trucks" over the weekend and that Ontario could learn from their example.https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/ottawa-protest-parliament-1.6342221

Typical of how Trudeau solves his problems. Download it to another level of government and then create a larger problem in doing so. I’m amazed that he is still the Prime Minister after calling hard working Canadians terrorists and white supremacists, let alone the SNC scandal, the blackface scandal, the WE scandal and the AgaKhanh scandal. Keep digging Trudeau, your legacy is now just a joke. The worst PM ever. Liberals will have to work hard to find a less capable leader to replace him.

Might be a good chance for the govt. to take over ''transportation'', hire more govt. employees, another govt agency, slide a few more tax dollars into their pockets. They can tell their media machine to broadcast ''it's for the children and elderly''.
