I think I might have a Thang for 3" revolvers.

My 3” model 60 Smith is easy to shoot and carries well.

I think mine is getting closer to a 3” problem as I age.

I prefer classic.

The only 3" revolvers that I have are Rossi 720s (x3) and a Taurus 441.

I had a couple of S&W 696s, but I decided that I liked the Rossi 720s better from a carry a lot shoot a little anti-snake revolver.

I have a S&W 27 with a 3.5" barrel that I've had for 30 years and have never carried afield, probably never will, just storing it for the next owner.

Nice collections, men! Suddenly I have 3" envy. smile

I look around at my 7.5 inchers, and wonder, what am I subconsciously compensating for? blush

I have a few 3" in the collection. A S&W model 60 and 66. A Ruger SP101 and a 2 3/4" Security Six if that counts. A Colt Police Positive converted from 38 S&W to 32 H&R. They seem to be a good balance of compactness and accuracy.

Bought my wife a 3" taurus 942. POI is 4" high at 7-8yds, even worse further out. I've noticed since I bought it last year they're out of stock everywhere. Thinking about trading it in.

I carried a 3" Model 13 for years. It's the ideal barrel length for a K-Frame if you intend to carry it concealed.

I also like my two 3" Charter Arms Bulldog .44s.

Those are some nice collections.

I only have a couple DA revolvers, a 4" Security Six, and 3" LCRx.

A 3” barreled S&W Model 66 is my favorite all time Double action Revolver. Right ahead of a 5” barreled S&W Model 29.

If Ruger will ever make the damned 3” LCRx in .327 Fed Mag with the adjustable sights that they promised 3 FUQKING YEARS AGO, it will be the perfect little “Kit Gun”, and I’ll buy one. 🤠

I remember when that was supposed to be in the pipeline. I think it would be a popular revolver.

Nice !!!
Wasn’t that what the ole Jim Cirillo from the famous NYC Stakeout Squad carried and killed 10 or 11 stick up bad guys with ???

I wrote a letter to Ruger suggesting that version about 6 or 7 years ago. Suggested it would be the ultimate kit gun, and also a great Revolver to use in training ladies that had never shot or owned a handgun, that took my CHL Course
Told them I’d be glad to field test the 1st one they made if they’d send me one. And wouldn’t even charge them a fee for research and development. 😬
About 4 years later they claimed it was “in the works” and would be out soon.
Guess they are too busy trying to push that ugly ass 9mm PC Charger Pistol & Carbine to sell the Prepper’s and Gang Bangers.😬 And the cheap looking Wrangler. Oh and the 5.7 Pistol you can’t get ammo for.
