I have several collectors edition Browning Superposed shotguns that I am considering selling. Is there a consensus on the best way to sell. Or places to sell by consignment. Input appreciated. Thanks

Consignments typically run 20-30%. I know a couple that only charge 15, but only one that I’d trust with something pricey, Barry Browning at Shooting Investments in NC.

Have you tried advertising them in the Valley Trader? Worth a shot if you’re in their coverage area in VA.

Not sure what part of Virginia you're in but Dominion outdoors has some nice stuff through the shop. They have a lot of customers and listings on Gunsinternational as well. No clue what they charge for consignment though

Barry gets 12% and will sell it and IMHO best of the best consignment guy.

You could also try the various auction houses such as Morphy or Rock Island Auctions. I've sold through RIA and have been happy with the results. The negatives are one might have to wait months for the auction to occur as they tend to happen a handful of times per year. The costs are usually paid through a buyer's premium which can hold sale prices down but what I received was still higher than I expected.

The sale prices being realized on Gunbroker lately, that may be the route to go for maximum dollar on a collectible Superposed.
