I have one and love it super accurate for 22wmr and short throw lever like a 99 savage...maybe that combined with post 64 “Olin” handicap. Good luck in ur search. Just bought a model 250 because I liked the 255 I had so much. Probly helped because I’ve never been a Winchester man. Marlin Remington fall from grace has really got me looking red now
