March 15-May 1 in the lower half of the state (SC) and April 1-May 1 in the upper half. We have a 5 bird per season with a 2 birds per day limit. SC dosen`t have a fall season so this is spring only limits. If the birds aren`t too vocal, most have given up by mid April and the last week is usually the best for hearing/workng gobbling birds. Make`em strut!!!!
------------------

Gun Control is shooting a tight group...
I`d like to go to heaven, but I`ve gotten use to hanging with this crowd....

March 31 here in Tennessee. I can't wait!! Tried some of the new "High Vel" 2oz #5 shot Federal loads today. Not near as nice patterns in my SP10 as my old faithful 2.25oz #4 Federal Premium load.

yep hillbilly I am ready for Saturday. I am determined to connect on a gobbler with a bow this year. The last time I accomplished that was back in 94. Last century. I took 2 birds last year with my trusty 870 with federal premium #4 turkey loads. Those things kick like a mule. I made the mistake of shooting my first bird last year from the prone position! OUCH! I am going to hunt Marshall county as much as I can this year. HOSS the "Fellow Volunteer"
