My A5 is fairly new. I've got a Kicks Gogglin Thunder .680 in this now. It's light and points very well, but kicks like a mule:

My Maxus II is brand new. Not sure what I'm going to use this for but it takes the bite out of 3 1/2" shlls better than the A5.

This is my SX4. It pulls double duty as a deer and turkey shotgun. Currently has a Browning x-full .685 choke in it. During deer season it has a Kicks Buck Kicker full in it. I had an SX3 some years ago and it had that soft touch camo finish on it and it got really sticky. I dusted it with corn starch and that got rid of the tack. But it looked like it had been dusted in corn starch. Ended up giving it to my brother in law. This SX4 replaced that. The SX is a good line of guns.

I no longer have my Remington 870 SP NWTF gun, or my Remington SP10, or my Browning BPS that was one of the first 3 1/2" BPS and had and engraved reciever. Wish I still had all those.
the sx4 is hard to beat for a good Turkey gun , I have one in 20 ga , love it .

Yeah, I bought one way back in the day when I was young and full of pep. Lugged that heavy pipe over the national forest for a week or so until I finally connected with a gobbler at 12 yards. Heck with that, I went back to my old Remington 870 Wingmaster that weighed about 3 pounds less.

Had a neighbor who shot geese with a Long Tom. Weight is a good thing when you're firing a 10 gauge from a goose pit.

I have those sights on my SX4 and really like them. It shoots a tad high but the elevation adjuster brings it down to where I like it.

Nope....🥴🥴🥴😄😄😄
You left out the 935???
Why???
🤔🤔🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣

All I ever used was a savage stevens 311 12ga for about 10 yrs with a set of williams firesights jb welded on the rib.

Mossberg 835,s ( lots of em) for about the last 14 or 15yrs
And this year a mossberg 935 which I I aquired in a trade for 1k of M855 ammo.

Mossbergs all set up with the .670 rhino, tru glo pro series sights.
Butt stock stuffed with 14 to 15 oz of fishing sinkers and wally world bags, simms limbsaver pad, barrel and forcing cone polished.

Thats about it.........

This 935 had the old school 2 peice piston.
Got the new one peice piston in it now.
Aint even shot it yet.
Gonna run Win LB,s 3.5 6,s in it.
Should throw 230 250 into 10 at 40 I'm guessing.
Good enough to kill Toms.

Thats about it.........

I knew you were joking....

On a serious note I shot Rhino chokes for several years...once I shot a Patternmaster Code Black Turkey choke I never looked back at the Rhino.
Try some of the 3.5" LB #4s and dont worry about a little less pellet count and look at the patterns I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Nice bigwoods! What part of MI? Buddy has a place in the UP, just west of Iron River and his place is literally right on the Paint River. Done a lot of stomping around up there!

Im from the central lower. Lots of good public land along a river that adjoins farm land. I hunted the southwest end of the UP one year and killed a nice Tom up there with this same gun. Beautiful up there!

The gun is a dirt cheap and butt-ugly NEF Pardner 20 gauge with a 3" chamber. Sent it through William Lambert's rehabilitation program. It's got one of his .562-5 tubes in it. The sight is an old Burris Speed Bead 135. Big. But about bulletproof. My daughter's gun is identical to mine in the metal. Hers just has a much nicer looking stock on it. Her's actually averages 15 more in the 10"at 40 yards than mine does (although "identical") using the old skool Federal Heavy 7's. Not TSS.

The SxS is a 1948 Winchester Model 21 in 16 gauge.

My buddy made that call for me as half of a matched set. Hop hornbeam over black gum.
