OP wbyfan1 Campfire Regular W Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 1,068 Likes: 1 Hill Country	I have a Marlin 39A that my Grandfather bought new in 1966. It needs base(s) and rings. Can any of you Marlin guru's recommend a good quality mounting system for a 39A? Thank you.

pete53 Campfire Outfitter P Joined: Dec 2015 Posts: 8,335 Likes: 2 Northern USA	Marlin in some of the past years when you purchased i new Marlin 39 A had a scope base mount supplied with the rifle in the box , maybe ask on here if someone can sell you one ? sorry i don`t have an extra one ,Pete53 > or maybe a Weaver base could work you need to let them know if its a round barrel or octagon barrel they did make a base i just looked it up.
