Is there any demand for these? I've got one but I hate duplex reticles and am not a fan of leupold scopes. Just wondering if it's worth my time to list it and ship it.

Yes there's demand. Especially because they don't make them anymore. It seem (to me at least) that leupold has forced people to either 'quality' down to the vx-freedom line or $$$-up to the vx3hd. Vx-2 was/is a great middle ground IMO. The classifieds have sold several 2-7 and 3-9 within the past few months, as well as I've noticed a few people looking for the 4-12.

I just bought a freedom 2.5x20. Tiny little scope for my ultra light AR 6.3oz! At $300 I wouldnt call it budget and it dosent appear to be. Tried it out at twilight and light gathering was excellent for its obj size. Duplex is fine and crisp. Has lock ring for ocular. Under the caps the adj mechanism is impressive. Nicer than my Swaro z3's. All machined polished alum with coin slot. Clicks are super distinct and precise feeling. I dont feel like I overpaid. But not sure about mechanisms for the other freedoms. The one I bought is typically put on big bore heavy recoilers.
oops kind of off topic but yes people pay premiums for discontinued leupolds. for some weird reason.

I have one on a rifle that’s going to a family member. I ran the knobs several times before mounting it and it seemed to help with the adjustment issues I’ve had before. Cannot see how it will help with durability over time. Depends on use, I suppose.
What fresh Hell is this?
