Sorry you are so mis-guided, but there wouldn’t be any need for judgement if grace alone was your savior.

You do believe in judgement don’t you.

The thief was fixin’ to die, and Jesus forgave him, knowing full well the thief had converted out of plain fear. He (the thief) admitted he was only getting what he was due (regarding his execution) as he’d sinned his whole life long. Even the Romans deemed his life so worthless that it wasn’t even seen as being fit to be worked to death rowing on one of their galleys. That thief would never read a Bible, or go to church, or make amends to those he’d wronged. He simply said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”

And not because of anything the thief had done, but in spite of everything that he’d done. It was simply a desperate plea for grace and mercy from a dying man. And Jesus…as you pointed out above…promised him, “Today you will be with me in paradise.” It’s a solid reminder that salvation isn’t about our own efforts or our good works. God’s grace doesn’t depend on what we’ve done for Him, but rather on what He’s done for us.

We’re sinners. All of us. And we’re gonna have to stand before God and give an account for our lives. All of us. Those who have accepted God’s gift of grace…and received forgiveness…will have their sins covered by the blood of the atonement, and their sins will be ‘passed over’. But we must still account for our lives though, and still stand in judgement before our Creator, and be admonished for our sin.....including our continued sin ‘after’ we accepted God’s saving grace. I think hell ultimately is to be eternally separated from God...and Heaven ultimately is to be eternally with Him. I think that good people don't go to heaven and bad people don't go to hell. I think that forgiven people go to heaven…and that unforgiven people go to hell.
