although if you collect stuff the prices have started getting stupid.
goodwill puts disclaimers on anything electric that says they have no idea if it works. (this is almost always the case) sometimes (rare) they will say they tested it, however people are paying ridiculous prices, even more than ebay, for stuff that they have no idea if it works. at least ebay you can return it, depending on the description of the item.
anyway, goodwill stores from all over the country list their stuff, and shipping is typically higher than ebay.

I’ll keep an eye out for some. I run across them occasionally. Actually those two smaller ones came out of a pre-war/ early wwII u s officers "mess kit". They came in a big wooden crate with 4 to 6 place settings for officers. Plates, cups, creamer, coffeepot. The works. The pre-war kits were all white enamel with the black trim. About 1943 they switched to aluminum.
I figger the only officers to use these were either generals or REMF’s. I dunno? The kits are pretty cool. They sold as surplus and folks used them for camping, hunting camp, and picnics, etc.

Depending on which contractor made those field mess kits, some cups had the handles like shown above and some were the more conventional handle. So there you go!
