Polished and blasted with rem oil.
Wiped down.
Pics suck... the part are smooth as glass where they need to be
Got some sanding and fitting of the rear sight dovetail to do still.
Ready for reassemble when i can thumb push that sight in 2/3rd of the way.
Put it on the trigger gauge and see what I got for pds.

looks great.
May have to work my M&P's over. I am kind of vested in them. Don't have a 5 inch version....yet

I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects

I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

I'm not a fan of striker fired handguns, I've owned a S & W and a Sig Sauer P356 and have sent both "down the road". Mags were hard to load and the Sig failed to return to battery a couple times. I like my Sig Sauer P239 and P226 much better, the P226 sees a lot of time with the .22 Conversion installed more so than the 9mm. I find the P239 the ideal size for a 9mm, accurate and reliable with a full size grip.

Never had an issue with a striker fired gun. Other than shooting light ammo with heavy spring, same as in a 1911.

Have you polished revolver chambers ever? I"m in desperate need to get a 610-3 smooth but have never done it. Sticks tight with even mild factory ammo.

Took enough to get the 14 pound DA pull down to manageable and smooth now getting the moon clip of empties out is horrible.

I'd have bought a 41 mag but my buddy never asked, just bought and hands it to me and says get it right. LOL

I’m waiting to hear someone with experience on this as I would think that if you got them to smooth that you would increase the rearward thrust.

No.
I have never done anything like that.
But I have seen alot of revolver chambers with really bad built up firing rings in em.

Clean with a strong solvent and scrubbing with a bronze brush on a rod took care of my friends king cobra a long time ago

It was a progessive build up and aloof cleaning issue with him.
That rings thickens and builds forward and back ring at the neck of the case.
I could see fine residue on the necks from it when unloading it.
Like a shave effect.

He let me carry that gun for 3 years while I was recruiting in maine.
Deer hunting dispatch gun and home defense
But he wouldnt sell it to me.
6 inch nickel......
Cause it was his ex wifes gun he bought her.
He had the "baby come back" thing for her....

Got 4.35 ish to 4.60 and about 25 or 30 pulls with my cheap gauge.
0 grit now
Zee fughing Ro 👍👍👍
Goes right to back wall clean and smooth
Reset sounds a little louder which aint a bad thing.
Didnt affect reset distance
Back wall breaks clean like before.

Good trigger now.
Might drop another .5 pds after 500 to 750 rds depending on springs getting worked and wear on sear contact points and shark fin and safety plunger wear.

Happy with it now.

Lots of good vids out their👍👍👍👍👍
Mcarbo puts out some good ones for alot of the spring kits they sell for many types of pistols.
Disassembly
Sanding
Polishing
Installation

25 30 min vids.

Started for me long ago.
Came across one called 25 cent trigger job.

I have done numerous glocks.
7 or 8 of em
2 S&W,s

Did some limited polishing on some hammer semi,s
Jehrico 941R
Beretta M9
Makarov.

It's fun
Learn the mechanics of the wpn dissemble and assemble
Satisfying doing it yourself and making it better than factory in many ways.
And not paying someone to do it.

I've got the 1.0 40 cal model, and really like it. Le trade in, but looks new. Got the same cheap trigger gauge, but never checked this pistol.
