Anyone seeing them actually available yet? Input? Seems to have some unique features that could spawn a lot of custom/aftermarket barrels etc. I’d probably buy a mini (Alpha) in 7.62x39 and/or 223 tomorrow, and hope there’d be some SPC, Grendel, HAMR barrels down the road. Could be a pig in a poke, too…I guess. Waiting to see. Sure, it’s a shame some of the old world, classic design and style is gone, but there’s always a niche.

I was at the LGS last week, the owner told me he had not seen one yet. Glad I have my 527's, shame they are gone from the line up.

For classic looks, I’d agree. However, the modularity, bolt lift, and mag options of the new 600 mini will be better for some, and compete better with the Howa, etc. it’s still a CRF, and has a tang safety, too.

Was at Scheel's the other night and there was a 600 Alpha on the rack. It didn't do much for me but like that the receiver is milled with an integral rail. Also an upside is twisting the .223, 6mm and 6.5mm offerings at 1:7.
I can't make myself like the vertical trigger. You need baby hands to make it work. If you had gloves on it would be pretty tough.

Handled a .223 Lux a week ago. Very nicely done, and IMO a lot of nice for $850. The twist on the Lux is 1-9, so no advantage over my current rifle.
Barrels within action size will interchange, except the Trail models, because of the difference in construction. Bolt heads are easily swapped out. They’re currently working on a chart to display the parts needed for each model to make the switch.
Trigger on the Lux was outstanding. They’re adjustable to one of four settings, and if you go past the last one, you end up at the first one again, so not like turning a screw in and out. Steel receiver models take 700 mounts. The Trail in .223 takes AR mags, in 7.62x39 Bren mags.
I like them a lot, but just don’t have any voids to fill right now.
What fresh Hell is this?

I ordered two Alphas but haven't seen one in person yet.

Saw an Alpha yesterday. For some reason, even though the rifle was on display behind the counter, the bolt was out. I did handle what was there. This one was a .300 WM with a medium weight barrel. The stock material reminded me of the old boat paddle Rugers, though the shape is totally different, not slippery, but also not tacky like a rubber Hogue. If I see one of the Alphas in .223 or even .224 Valkrye locally, it might just come home with me.

If anyone has a line on a 600 Alpha in a mini chambering or a 20” threaded 308, I’d appreciate a heads up. I can’t find any in stock.

Exile Armory in Weaver Alabama had a couple of the Alphas in 223 and something else. They are OK. I like the 527 model better.

If you own a 600 please check out the CZ website. Looks like there is a safety issue.

Now why would they get rid of the American model with the nice classic shaped stock?? Only one wood stock but with the ugly hog back butt. Yuk.
