During the summer I take my llamas to some nearby hills a couple times a week for conditioning hikes. It's BLM land with grazing. I go through country very much like that and there are always bulls to take into account. I keep a close eye on them and I've detoured a number of times. I don't get anywhere near as close as those bikers.

Idholton: I did NOT think that video was funny! I spent 29 years professionally scrapping people up off of the pavement, retrieving drowned children and adults, trying to stop the bleeding of gun shot wound victims, knife wounded persons and tending to all manner of injured and over-dosed people. I find NO amusement in other peoples injuries and painful miseries. I am puzzled as to why YOU do? "Bike riders" are as big a pain in my ass as everyone else's - but I would not/do not enjoy seeing a healthy young person runn't over and then gored by a bull! PERIOD. YMMV Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

I saw that vid a few days ago.
Pretty fuucked up situation.
Why in the hell was that guy riding a bike in the pasture with that POS bull?
Is that some kind of hot blood Spanish bull?
Anything remotely aggressive would be cull material around here. I've seen old bulls get mean when pushed but that fuucker was the pit bull of bulls.
Watched the vid again, maybe peddle dork just startled the bull and he reacted.

He said it was some sort of big gravel race in CA, and that was just one of four attacks. Never thought bicycle races would be a fun spectator sport, but I'd put a 12-pack in a cooler, grab a lawn chair, and watch that all day.

https://amp.usatoday.com/amp/6810798001If attacked by a Bull you should scream as loud as you can and hit the bull on its muzzle or nose for it to back off.Well, I’m pretty sure I got the screaming part down.

Goring is being hooked by horns. He was stomped all to hell, though. The bull was probably more than 10x his weight and FAR faster. They're nothing to mess with.
