I have a Ruger "Bicentennial" stainless steel Old Army Black Powder Blackhawk. It's been 20 years since I shot it. I would like to start shooting it again. When I put it up I was using Rem #11 primers and Pyrodex P and felt wads.
It that still a good combination for pushing the .457 RBs or has the state of the art changed?
Thanks,

You should be good to go. Either 3F Black or Pyrodex P are good choices for powder.

Norm I think the manual recommends #10's, just to be sure you should check. I'll look for mine to be sure. Bob

Wall,
Thanks. Guess I'll go with the Pyrodex P.

BOBBALEE,
I remember now. It was number 10's that I used. Thanks,
