I saw an ad for a 12-shot auto, legal solely for use in the white goose control season. Mag tube is longer than the barrel. I guess, if you want to spend $1000+ for a gun just for that, it is a good idea. They should have called it the "Market Hunter" tho

For half that, you could have a Turkish AR-style 12 gauge semi with a box mag. Maybe doesn't hold a dozen. But you could buy a couple extra mags........

I just buy the extended tube for whatever auto I have.
I will say this - touching off 6, 3.5 inch Roman candles as fast as you can pull the trigger in the goose field will put your dentist's kids thru an Ivy league school.
But I do understand the allure to a dedicated snows gun. It's more addicting than porn, bacon and whiskey.

Way back when, I bought a 8 rd ext mag for my M-1 super 90 Benelli. A spring snow goose gun beyond any mossberg made.....mb

My setup is simple. A Carlsen ext mag tube on my sbe II. Goes bang 10 times in a row. Don't need those 3.5" shells when they land in your lap. It's how you kill 35 in one volley with 6 hunters.
