Killed my fifth one this morning. Season over a week early for me. Gonna put the feeders back out and feed the "survivors" till next year. My partner hasn't fired a shot. He's going nuts!<P>------------------<BR>

<br>NY spring season opens tomorrow and I pray it is a safe one.
<br>When I first started hunting turkeys around here I used to get strange looks. Now everyone is doing it. And every year an accident or two occurs. Shouldn't be! When I taught hunter safety we really stressed hunting spring season.
<br>The Lord has blessed me with so many birds over the years I don't even count anymore and really enjoy just being out there.

HK - Now its obvious why you call yourself happy, I would be pretty happy, too, if I killed a turkey and then was able to keep going 'til I got 5 of 'em. That's a dream! Anyway good job!
