I've had a few pm's asking when it'll be ready, the weather is still cold but will be warming soon we hope. Probably in about 2 weeks or so we should have some. I want to have a bunch boxed up and ready to go and will be doing a new post and will take orders at that time. Get ready as it's coming soon, thanks.

Still hoping for warm weather, get 2 warm days and back to freezing for a few, doesn't last long enough to thaw the trees.

I need to get out this weekend and knock down a couple sugar maples before the sap starts flowing. It helps the deer and dries the wood quicker for next year.
They say everything happens for a reason. For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

Danny, what is the shelf life?
Thanks Shelf life is many years if seal hasn't been broken and syrup is kept out of direct sunlight. I think it's eternity if stored in freezer with or without it being sealed. In the freezer is the best if you have multiple jugs, it will not freeze solid but will thicken until it comes back up near room temperature. Jugs that have been opened and used often should go in fridge. I will be putting up a new post when I have a bunch ready to go out the door.
