Anybody using this horribly named product to adjust parameters on their newer Ford?
Been looking at getting rid of the double honk when I exit the running truck with keys in my pocket. I'm certainly not a computer guru but it looks pretty simple and cheap enough.
What could go wrong?
Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

Ford keys do that, too? I cuss my Dodge key every time I bend over and the doors lock.

yup , I used it on a 2019 F250 to reset some of the annoying ringy dingys
it takes a little thought for an old computer illiterate dude to figure out , but could be worse
also use the "light" version on an android tablet to track engine data

My son's company bought 5 F250's from Crown in Redding last fall, every truck had the default ringy-dingy annoying the hell out of everybody...so they complained, and Crown said bring 'em in, we'll reset them. They did...no charge. Talk to Wittmeier, or Corning, wherever you bought it.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

Yep, used it to disable all the nanny stuff on my '21, you can also enable actual temp numbers above the gauges. Lots of good info and spreadsheets on the FTE forums.

There are a ton of neat things you can program in. I read about one that adjusts the mirrors down a bit when you put it in reverse. That would be pretty sweet if you get to set how far it goes.

Well, I got all the hardware and software rounded up and somehow managed to get the annoying double honk eliminated without any drama.
Now to figure out how to shut up all the other dings and chimes!

Turning the seatbelt chime off for good in the dodge dropped my blood pressure by 5psi.
Also, when I hit unlock on the remote, unlock all the doors. Whoever set up the default behavior must have just watched the movie "scream" on LSD.

Be sure to save an original "as built" file, before you change anything.

The question is how many of those settings are by government regulation. In my Dodge pickup, if someone doesn't buckle up, it dings 5 times and quits. In our Toyota car, it will keep dinging forever. I can't drive the length of our driveway with having to buckle up or wear ear plugs. edited: I just found a video showing how to disable the seat belt dinger. I'll try it after while.

It worked. No more seat belt dinger. I'd like to find a complete list off what all settings can be changed and how to do it. This one was a 10 step process

On my β11 Superduty, the door unlock can be changed from the dash and steering wheel controller.

This one was a 10 step process I don't have a complete list, and I can't remember which settings I changed with the tuner and which ones I did with the hokey-pokey key on, key off, turn yourself about routine. But I know you can keep fogs on with high beams, and I think you can make it start up in tow/haul if you shut it off in tow/haul. Same for exhaust brake. I can't remember if that was a function of the tuner though. Anyway, google should help, or PM me - I also have an 08 Dodge.

Today it's back. I don't know why. I had to go to town and the mail box is 150 yards away so I didn't buckle up until I got the mail. ding ding ding....@#$%^

RC, did you 'save' the settings when done? It's been a year or so since I did mine but recall you had to save it.

I would like to mute the horn or alarm honk when I double click the key. It's annoying at night. I'll have to check in with the FTE guys about that.
