Living donor here. Kidney. Recipient's insurance covers all medical costs incurred by the donor. WTG sir. My mother-in-law is a kidney recipient (PKD). She would not be with us if not for the generosity of the donor. Wife and I both have organ donor on our dirvers licenses.

I’m on the fence. What if the person getting your organs is a POS? Goes on to commit some horrific crime they couldn’t have committed if they’d died without your organ. There’s a lot to think about here.

My immediate family are all donors and listed on their drivers license.
It’s a very moving thing to go to the Organ Donors (Procurement) annual summer get together and meet the person who has received a donation from a family member.
I looked into the very eyes of the woman wearing my Son’s corneas transplant. That feeling is difficult to put into words.
You hear it said that if God didn’t approve of this then he wouldn’t have made these parts so interchangeable.

Donor here, dong know if they’ll want any of it. Also consider the bone marrow / stem cell donor list. I gave bone marrow in 1989, I gather it’s much easier now Jack mountain; I just let god sort out the assh  les. Anyone gets any of your stuff will turn into a good dude 👍

If anyone is desperate enough to need anything that I have, they can have it. I’m on the fence. What if the person getting your organs is a POS? Goes on to commit some horrific crime they couldn’t have committed if they’d died without your organ. There’s a lot to think about here. Don't overthink it. Do you really believe that most people are that bad? Besides, the people I know who have waited or are waiting for organs have jumped through a lot of hoops to get on the list. Your average self-destructive person is not going to jump through those hoops or live to get through them. I also could throw your own hypothetical back at you. What if the person who didn't get your organs would have made some major advancement for the common good of humanity? Just something to think about. No offense if you opt out.
