Mark v deluxe German, 240 weatherby, the good, good bore, stock in great shape, great shooter, the bad, not much bluing left, barrel had a lot of rust I removed, pitted, scope is weatherby stuck on 10 power, but still holds zero wel $600 shipped to ffl, stock is worth half that!

240 looks better than it is, it shoots great however barreled action is rough.

Assuming "like nes" is a typo that means "like new," and "like new" indicates a very low round count, I'll take the .257 for $675 shipped.

Question about Weatherby restoration. I have a Weatherby Varmitmaster 22-250 that like the 240 described above had rust and pitting when i aquired it and i removed it but still has the pitting in several places. Gun otherwise fine. Is there someone that has ever had a restoration on metal that restored it to a satisfactory condition.
