I know there is a long thread on DBC on the Gun writer's forum, but i have not seen anything on its use on ported barrels, ie. semi autos. Anybody have any experience with it, recommendations?

used it a lot with AR barrels before salt bath nitride came out. No issues. Not even sure how it could form an issue but you never know.

DBC is only 25 microns thick. A micron is one millionth of a meter--about 39 millionths of an inch. The gas port on an AR is FAR larger than that....
