In your opinion, what's the finest looking wheelgun? Doesn't have to be one that you own, Just one that every time you see an image of it you think, "My God they got that right!" For me it is often been a 1905, 4th change.

Colt SAA or a Triple Lock
Grumpy old man with a gun.....Do not touch . Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6. Don't bother my monument and I'll leave yours alone.

The S&W original Registered Magnum. Especially the one that once belonged to Gary Cooper

Iām a sucker for a L frame Smith. Ruger Security Six 2 3/4ā barrel. Pythons, GP100s, K frames, easy to please but if I had to pick one it would be a 686 2.5ā barrel with wooden grips that have the finger grooves.
Say When.

Yikes! Someone had a nightmare and came up with that.
I was thinking the other day how much I used to hate Bill Clinton. He was freaking George Washington compared to what they are now.

Half-lug S&Ws, in all frame sizes are very handsome, and the ones with tapered barrels are really badass.
What fresh Hell is this?

I always liked the looks of the old contoured barreled, high polish blued, N-Frames, particularly with the short cylinder (.45 ACP) and short barrel. [ Linked Image]

S&W 686 6" barrel Ruger Blackhawk
I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects
I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

Owning a 629 Mountain Gun, a 6ā 686 and a 4ā 66, I think the 66 just has the Goldilocks appeal.

A 5" N-frame is hard to beat IMO.

A 5" N-frame is hard to beat IMO. Hard to disagree with this. My favorite is a 25-9. Hasbeen

Longarm: The answer is my unfired new in the presentation case Smith & Wesson Model 29-2 with 8 3/8" barrel that is in one of my gun safes! Closely followed by my mint condition Colt Cobra (factory nickel plated) with 2" barrel. And high on my list is a Smith & Wesson Model 17 with 6" full lug barrel I acquired recently. So many guns - so little time. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
