Hello naval8r,
Thanks for the reply.

I've been loading 297-250 for years. Yes, I've shot it. .. ..... and yes, TimZ ... I've got several hundred cases from Buffalo Arms that are made from 22 Hornet cases.

Hello Huntz,Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I sold off several hundred pieces, and I bought the hunting land ... but I didn't sell everything .... I kept the very best.

Buckstix,
As always Thank You for sharing. I feel you do an excellent job of educating People with older, unique, or large caliber rifles. I hope my gun collecting career follows your path to buying land, minus all the huge cannons. I just don’t have it in me to shoot something that large.

I had never heard of this caliber before 5 minutes ago, learned something new today.

Thank you

Wonderful! I'm not a collector as I suspect I'd need a reinforced bunker for secure storage if I wanted to leave for weekend. Unsettling now to head out for a few days with what I do own.

I just wonder in a hundred years or so if anyone will be going WOW over a plastic stocked AR?

that is a truly amazing find. And I suspect is a joy to shoot....... but is even better in that it caught the eye of DogZapper who is clearly paying attention and only comes out when something exceptional shows up.
We need some in field photos of this when you get it out in the wild.
Thanks for posting.

I used to only shoot shotguns and rimfires, then I made the mistake of getting a subscription to handloader.......

Hello All,
Thanks for the reply.

I look forward to going afield with it the Fall. I would love to bag a Rook or Rabbit with it.
