I picked up a Volquarsten MK3 lower from their clearance section and I’m having an issue with it. If I have the safety on, cock the bolt, pull the trigger, release the trigger and flip the safety off it fires. This is 100% repeatable and I can’t figure it out. I have 3 Rugers and none of them have this issue.
I have turned the pre travel and over travel screws, swapped main spring housings, etc.
Any advise on what I need to look at, or is this normal for their trigger kit and lower?
I’m going to call Volquarsten in the morning.
Thanks

It seems to be a trigger disconnector issue. I sent a video to Volquartsen and they have requested a return immediately.

Wow, that's crazy...
I've never heard of anything like that before.
I'm glad they're taking care of you.

I sent a video to Volquarsten and they replied they’ve never seen that issue and they have no idea how it’s possible. I was issued a return tag immediately. The video I sent I loaded the 3 rounds and all 3 fired on that sequence by flipping the safety off. I can empty the 10 round mag by doing that, it was very odd. I have no doubt it will be fixed and returned, I was just curious if anyone else had ever had an issue like that with the Rugerish platform. I have 3 Rugers and none will fire like that.
Mailed yesterday and the pistol is in Iowa today so I’d say I hear something pretty quick.

Just got a call from Volquartsen and the problem has been resolved. The lower was a Volquartsen MK3 and they had installed an MK4 sear. When they swapped in the correct sear everything works as it should and is safe.
