Used to be that compared to the competition, their prices were lower. Often considerably so. Now their prices are often higher. Some of the same guns cost less at the local Academy. Then you get to pay shipping an FFL fee on top of that. Kind of a bummer. They used to be one of my favorite online stores. You ain't thinking of buying another ruger again??? 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️😄😄😄

Why would you want a Henry .22 unless you just like ugly guns.
Imagine a corporate oligarchy so effective, so advanced and fine tuned that its citizens still call it a democracy.

They were a dumping outlet for manufactures. When a manufacturer had a surplus of guns they would blow them out to them cheap and they would pass along the savings. At this point in time manufactures can sell every gun they make so there isn't the surplus. I get that, but they are now often priced ABOVE retailer prices. A few quick examples. Henry 22 is $399 at CDNN and $369 at Academy Ruger American Predator $499 at CDNN and $449 at Academy. Beretta 92FS $699 at CDNN and $649 at Cabelas. There are lots more than that. Academy 10% mil discount also. Academy online deliver to store around you also if in stock online

And no telling how many Makarovs, Tokarovs, CZ-52’s, Russian Nagant Revolvers, And German P-38 autos and German Wather PPK & PPKs Police Trade In’s too. And Truck loads of Glock & S&W Police Trade in’s too. Lots of AR’s and Ruger Mini-14 Police Trade in’s. Not to mention 18 Wheeler loads of Yugoavian 8mm Mausers. He once had over a Million Bayonets in stock too. The list is pretty much endless.

I used to buy quite a bit from them. But, haven't bought much in the last couple years except a set of pistol grips on sale.
If you sign up for their emails, expect to get buried in them. I turned them off.

I bought a couple of chambered Remington barrels from them sold as "unstamped" and they are super accurate fitting my action perfectly.

A gazillion years ago when I had a C&R license, I bought quite a few Mosin Nagants from them, 91/30's M44's, etc. If my memory holds true, they were about $69 and $8 to ship. I don't recall ordering modern firearms, but I do remember they had very good prices on closeout stuff (back in the day). Haven't used them for 18-20 years though.
