Hello Fire

Thought I'd share a Father/Son set of knives I've recently completed for a fellow Fire member.

A set of TCK #6's with Maple/Epoxy hybrid scales and a set of #3's with Snakewood. The knives are made from 1/8" weathered 1095. The sheaths are fully lined RH crossdraw and made from Wickett & Craig dark brown 8 oz leather.

Hope 2022 is treating you all as fair as possible and may you have enough ammo if it isn't!

Thanks for looking,

Todd

Nice.

What is “weathered” 1095?

Thanks! Weathered 1095 is 1095 I let sit out in the weather for a good long time. Gives the metals nicer finish than just plain bar stock.

Nice!

Any story behind the different medallions on the sheaths?

Yes, I do all of the leather work as well as the knife work. There is no particular story on the conchos. The customer wanted them on his sheaths so he cruised Tandy, found what he wanted and I ordered and installed them. They are a nice person touch.

Thank you all again for looking. I really appreciate your time.

Todd
