Rusky, appreciate your patience. I currently don't have any scoped. My first gun growing up was a Harrington and Richardson 22, spent lots of time wandering around the woods with that. After that, Henry lever 22 and a Marlin 444. We had horses growing up and it was fun to have "cowboy guns" both riding and walking fields and woods. Now, we live where shooting means going to the range, so something scoped makes sense, at the same time, the iron sighted version had caught my eye as something that combined the brush gun idea while also being something that would be fun shooting bench rested. Looking around, there's lots of good stuff here on the forums, surprised that I hadn't really noticed 24hourcampfire before.
