I just don't hunt this like I thought I would. In fact never took it out in the field. There are less than 60 rounds down the new Douglas barrel that were shot for load development. Best results were with RL-16 and 200 grn Nos ABs.

Remington Very good ++ 700 ADL. Very minor handling marks on the stock.

Picatinny style two pieces bases with 3 front slots and two rear so plenty of scope mounting flexibility

Weighs 7lbs 3ounces

I bought it used as 30-06 and hand it re-barreled. Trigger breaks at ~ just over 3 lbs

Remington logo on left side of receiver is red. Don't know if that was every factory but it is nicely done.

Includes a set of old but very serviceable RCBS 8mm-06 dies.

8mm bullets available to the buyer for extra if they need components - have 180 TSXs and 200 Nos Accubonds.
