Do any of y'all go frog gigging? If you gig frogs tell me about it or give me some pointers. I went for the first time two weeks ago, took the kids and they had a blast. I videoed it and you can see it at the link below. If you like it please SUBSCRIBE to my channel it's free and all you have to do is click a button. I'll be adding more videos soon. https://youtu.be/OE5XOds8ocIThanks, Lonster

a fly tied to about 3 foot of line on a 12 foot cane pole is a blast. Just tease them with it until they jump for it.

Crappie jig on a long crappie rod works as do bass plugs and rubber worms if you can cast them up close to them. Got this one on a Bobby Garland crappie jig. If you’re gigging make sure your gig is sharp and try to drive them to the bottom to push the barbs all the way through. If they get off the gig they’ll swim off never to be recovered.

Don't have them in eastern Oregon, but as a kid back in Va it was a great and tasty activity.

W used to grab frogs rarely gigged. We ran the river at night with a spotlight. And drove over to the bank and grabbed them with our hands.
