Saw close to 20 turkeys about 15-30 feet off the road tonight on my way home. Scratching around the field/uncovered areas.
They've been out n about quite a bit the last few weeks. We're in that weird time where it snows day 1 and day 2 is 60°. Bounces all over.
Coulda smoked any one of them with a 22 pistol.

My tractor and manure spreader are like a dinner bell especially when there is snow on the ground. Yesterday, I counted 37 turkeys, a high for this winter.

Saw a flock of about 50 yesterday in a field not far from my house.
As far as the time change goes, I don't care which way they go but I wish they would leave it alone.
I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects
I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....
