Any idea how long it takes to get the email? Well. . . From my own experience, at least a year. I gave up after going from t shirts and sweating to needing a heavy coat. Don't know if they wait for the equinox, or daylight savings time to cycle back around, or exactly what JMHO- if you carry anything more than a sip of water and the crumbs of an energy bar and 2 rounds of ammo for a week's hunt in the Rockies, well you won't fit in

I read over there some but have never registered.
Sure seems to be a lot of “hardcore” guys who buy a bunch of high tech garb to kill a forkhorn here and there.
Of course lots of guys here probably haven’t killed anything since Bush One was in the white house either.
There’s nuggets of good info to be mined lots of places.

I’ve never made an account on Rocslide but read discussion threads reviewing gear once in awhile. As others have said it has an annoying hipster type vibe, and is centered around the Rockies. IMO it is more of a hikers that carry hunting rifles and are into talking optics and long range hunting group than it is a hardcore gun enthusiast group.

Thanks. I had read quite a few threads over there regarding Southern MT and was hoping to glean a little more insight since I haven't been there on my one and only trip in 2017.
Of course I need to get drawn first...figuring my odds are a little better than 50% at getting a tag this year.

Member of both forums, without a doubt this one gets more traffic. Also without a doubt your odds of starting a thread and not having it turn into a total $hitshow are exponentially better there than here. This place does have entertainment value for sure.....
