What distances are you using the .17 Rem. at? I'm usually not close enough to get a sure ear hole shot.

I'm going to try some in my 17 Fireball. Please report back! Just ordered some 19 grain .172's and 39 grain .204's. Should make for some fun pig shooting.

I'm wanting 30 grain projectiles with a bc of .270 or more. Is there any such thing out there? I just checked and the 30 gr. Berger has a BC of .185...I hope the pigs don't find out....

The 30 grain Kindler Gold had a bc of .270. The .17 Rem. then becomes good for up to around 400 yards, as well as the close pigs etc.
