What distances are you using the .17 Rem. at? I'm usually not close enough to get a sure ear hole shot.

Just ordered some 19 grain .172's and 39 grain .204's. Should make for some fun pig shooting.

I'm wanting 30 grain projectiles with a bc of .270 or more.

The 30 grain Kindler Gold had a bc of .270. The .17 Rem. then becomes good for up to around 400 yards, as well as the close pigs etc.
