I've been going to work every day for two years and going to the stores. Now that many of the restrictions have been lifted I've seen about twice as many people out in the world again. And they're all fat as a German kid whose dad owns a chocolate factory.

I went to the grocery store and without exaggeration I would say half the people were clinically obese.

In the U.S, 52% of men are over weight, and the overall numbers for women are even worse.
Last numbers I saw over 70% of black women were over weight and something like 40% were obese.
You didn't use logic or reason to get into this opinion, I cannot use logic or reason to get you out of it.

Maybe because JeffO's boyfriend Michael Obama decided that hungry kids are better optics.

I like the fact that clothing sizes seem to have been, well relaxed... a lot ! , I get to wear a medium again... LOL

He was a skinny dude so I doubt part two ever happened. (haven't seen him since the late 70's, bless his hide, so I have no real idea)

Our older boy (20) orders two meals when we go out to restaurants. He eats about three times a day at home. He's 6'2" and weighs about 145. Maybe it's those several miles of running a day, or maybe it's that daily workout in the gym. His brother (19) eats not quite as much, but still a lot. He's 6' and weighs about 170. He does more lifting and not quite as much running as his brother. My wife hits the gym religiously three days a week. Not everybody's fat.

At 5'3.5" and 178, I'm obese. At 67, I nearly have a double bodyweight bench press though...

I got pretty big thanks in part to too much prednisone. I've lost 60 pounds since November.

The big thing that strikes me now is how much bigger kids are compared to when I was young. In general everyone just looks worse than 20 years ago when I was in high school, and weight is the primary reason.
It also depends on where you live - if you move from Louisiana to Colorado you will think everyone is skinny.
