After using these type for 20+ years, for any of you are trying these for the first time for use on hunting rifles, I have a little advice. I strongly advise not getting them in camo, black, or dark colors and instead getting them in a contrasting color like day-glow orange, red, etc. Like kids' mittens, this is one the most dropped and lost items that I'm aware of. People remove them in rushed situations and fail to stuff them in their pockets or to secure them. When they become aware and backtrack to look for them, especially in low light, they're hard to find. Just a note: the ScopeGuard Alaska neoprene covers have a "keeper" loop, which goes around the forearm and prevents the cover from falling off the rifle. The loop contains a quick disconnect for completely removing the cover if desired very quickly.

I orderd a half dozen, showed up a couple days ago. Of the several types of neoprene covers ive got these are the best for sure!
Not sure why theyre "alaska" when theyre coming out of the sandpoint area of ID?

No Sir, I Ain't getting anything out of it, I have been using ScopeGuards for several years and thought
I would pass it on to the FIRE members. Some people still do somethings for nothing as you probably
do. I am sure you will find them as durable as I have. The sale ends Tuesday.

Not sure why theyre "alaska" when theyre coming out of the sandpoint area of ID? The "Alaska" in ScopeGuard Alaska does cause some puzzlement, as we are indeed located in North Idaho. But originally the business originated in Anchorage, and no one who has ever been in Alaska can leave it completely behind!
