That’s a “Sixshot” blade… as high quality as they come and I believe thinner width for those fine shots where you gotta aim small.

These are great revolvers! I really like mine in 480. The 454 I have may take a trip one day soon, but the 480 is here to stay.

Yes I make the taller front sights, they are narrowed to 1/10". Two of these 5 shot 480's have sold on Gunbroker in the last 2 weeks for over $2400.

Wow! Didn't realize they had attained that level of desirability. I'd like one, but a day late and a dollar (or thousand) short.

Dick - I just sent you a PM on the sight blade. I didn't realize these were selling for that much - I have 3 of them and have been considering selling 1 or 2 and now the wheels are turning!

I had no idea of the value, either. I’ve got two 4-3/4”, one in 480 and one in 454. Just sent the grip frames off to get custom grips. Making me nervous now knowing what they’re worth.
I also have two of Dick’s sight blades for the guns. I just need to install them.
Now I wish I’d kept the two 6.5” revolvers I sold. Lol.

Just got back from Africa a few months ago & I want to go again. One of those guns sold for $2480 & had 27 bids. The other sold for $2450, didn't see the end of it. A 45 bisley just barley ended for $1625 & had 18 bids.

Dick Wow! I bought a 5 1/2" SS Bisley 45 Colt from a forum member here two years ago for $625, including dies and brass. Guess that was a good investment!
