What ammo box will accommodate a much longer OAL on 6.5 Creed moor rounds?

The one I have from MTM won't latch , because of the longer length of my reloads.

And the slip top ones always seem to sneak open at the least inopportune time.

What to do?

Buy the ones designed for 30-06 and they should be long enough. I bought a bunch for my 223 loads and when I got them from Midway they said 17 Rem/221 Fireball/ etc... on them and my 223 ammo won't fit in them. Bought some specifically for 223 when Midway had a sale last year and they work perfectly...

These boxes will accommodate your needs, they are flip top but the rounds rattle around a little bit. :-)

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I use the boxes above, I fold a paper towel 4 or 5 times, and put it in the bottom, do the same on the ends and sides, when it gets full of reloads I cover the top with 4-5 layers of paper towel and lock it up and mark it, they work great for me and don't rattle when moved. Rio7

I prefer the Berry’s ones over MTM and others. For one, the Berry’s are cheaper and they fit for the cartridge they are designed to. Honestly, the MTM ones do as well, the only issue I’ve had are the Cabela’s and Frankford Arsenal ones, they seem to be a little on the short side for the cartridges they are designed for.

I've never had any issues with MTM and their availability is great. Generally most good LGS have them. The box I suggested above works very well for many applications I load for. Including 22-250, 308w, 6.5x55, 6.5 Creedmoor, 7mm08 etc. etc..

I have some that are green and black, green and blue. Like someone else said, if you have different colored boxes, you can segregate your ammo better. My only gripe is they redesigned them from a more squared design to a more rounded shape. The new ones do not stack on top of the older ones. They did improve on the hinge design though. I use some berrys boxes too, for my WSM's. They work fine, but like someone else said, they are cheaper.

They are just ammo boxes though and work great for their intended purpose:

I have a bunch of those... but usually I am "MR. Old Butter Tub, with a 3 x 5 card in with the ammo " kind of guy....

they hold lots of ammo.......

I'm so bourgeois its ridiculous....campfire friends are afraid to be seen in public with me...
