Justice Thomas was hospitalized with flu-like symptoms. I really hope he is ok. If Biden gets another nominee, the majority is gone. Roberts doesn’t have the stones.

Thomas, 73, was being treated with intravenous antibiotics, his symptoms were abating, and he expected to be released from the Sibley Memorial Hospital in a day or two, the court said in a statement. A court representative said earlier that all nine justices were fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and had received booster doses.

He can have all of the vax that he wants so far as he doesn’t tell me that I have to do the same. I don’t expect a SCJ to think lockstep with me. I expect them to rightfully interpret the Constitution. Thomas has been excellent in that role.
